I purposed, before the birth of my daughter, to be the kind of mom I'd long wanted to be. At all costs. Unbeknownst to her, my daughter had thrown me a challenge. I needed to use my God-given talents and life's passions to be productive while still working around her needs and her schedule. Here are some daily adventures and small successes.

Pinteresting #9 - First of the 20/20 summer - Montreal's South Shore children's photographer

I released some details last week for the 20/20 summer ahead. Read all about it!

The waiting list is beginning to roll. And the concept and estimated date of the first 20/20 Summer session are set. When? Sometime between the 25th and 29th of June.

Concept? I call it Tiny Traveler, and it looks like this.

Just a tease...

Pinteresting #8 - Inspired sessions

Love Pinterest. (Not the first time I mention this, right?)

Now that so many are getting on the Pinterest bandwagon, I'm all over the idea of making inspiration boards for all my sessions. If you book an outdoor session between now and November 2012, and you're on Pinterest, it's a done deal. We're both pinning away what we love. Since a picture is worth 1000 words, we're getting lots covered.

Pinteresting #7 - Oh! Burlap!

Not just for potatoes and basmati.

An indispensable element to shabby-chic decor, burlap is versatile and cheap-o.

And I can't help but pin it so. (Oh, oh, oh.)

Pinteresting #6 - Spring Fashionista

Spring has indeed been flirting with us here in Montreal. Sure, playing hard to get...but that makes me want it so much more! (We women just do this to ourselves...)

Happily, I dream in open-toe flats. And I pin some spring/summer musts.

Pinteresting #5 - My love affair

With Mason Jars.

And I'm not the only one, clearly, since ideas abound on Pinterest of how to be surrounded by this canny glass. There are endless ways to turn that Mason Jar into something special.

Pinteresting #3 - T-shirts

Something about t-shirt fabric (AKA jersey). Stretchy. Cozy. And easy to re-purpose.

So with the planet being overpopulated with (typically unflattering) t-shirts, it's a good thing I can catalog all my fave t-shirt upcycle projects on Pinterest.

Pinteresting #2 - Yellow

I. Love. Yellow.

(Yes, "love" is one of those overused words. I am fully aware. But as far as colours go...)

And as I browse the rows and rows of images on Pinterest, some yellow things are just worth remembering. So I pin them. You know, so that I don't forget them.

(Is it wrong that I'm blogging about Pinterest and Yellow whilst my daughter is asking for a snack?)

So have you seen my board all about yellow yet? Here's a sneak. (But you can follow it here.)

Pinteresting #1

Have you heard of Pinterest.com?

If you're visual, you'll soon find yourself fondly addicted to this site. A-dicted.

Thanks to Pinterest, today I've been amassing inspiration for mostly newborn props I'd like to make or otherwise get my hands on.

A taste?
