She is ready.
I purposed, before the birth of my daughter, to be the kind of mom I'd long wanted to be. At all costs. Unbeknownst to her, my daughter had thrown me a challenge. I needed to use my God-given talents and life's passions to be productive while still working around her needs and her schedule. Here are some daily adventures and small successes.

The preparation of the bride - Wedding photographer Montreal's South Shore Rive Sud Estrie Cantons de l'Est Eastern Townships Marriages
One of the most intense glimpses into a wedding day are those moments right before it all actually starts. Behind the scenes, the culmination of months of planning is about to erupt, and the bride is playing the day out in her mind. She is at once calm and anxious; giddy and serene. She is ravishingly beautiful, and yet she cannot stop adjusting each and every finishing touch.
She is ready.
She is ready.

These lovebirds, on the anniversary of their engagement - Montreal's South Shore wedding photog de marriage Rive-Sud
Warmth. Sweetness. Lovely love. It was all in the air that day...
This barn location (Grange Manson Barn) in Magog had such an amazing rustic appeal. And I was swooning over the surrounding landscape, perfect for portraits of the newlyweds.

BC boarders - Montreal photographer in Vancouver
SK8ers as young as 5 years old came out for a perfect day in Abbotsford, British Columbia. And I got to be witness (and official freeze-framer) to these kids doing things I'm too chicken to do.
Chicken and proud.
But way WAY more proud of these guys and their incredible devotion to the extreme sport of skateboarding.

Getting ceremonial on you all - Montreal's South Shore couples photographer
If you're a photographer, and plan to do only a couple of small weddings a season, do one just like this.
What I mean is, shoot for two of the nicest people you could meet. Make sure they're as smitten with one another as these two are. And while you're at it, have the whole thing happen outdoors.
You know, just a few minor requests. ;)
