I purposed, before the birth of my daughter, to be the kind of mom I'd long wanted to be. At all costs. Unbeknownst to her, my daughter had thrown me a challenge. I needed to use my God-given talents and life's passions to be productive while still working around her needs and her schedule. Here are some daily adventures and small successes.

Whoever said it gets easier...- Montreal's South Shore photographer

Whoever said it gets easier to watch your child traipse off with her class on the first day of school, well, they didn't consult with me first. I can attest that first grade did not come easier to me than kindergarten. I was all skittish, butterflies in my stomach and all. I wanted my girl to have all her questions answered. "Who will be in my class? Who will be my teacher? When will I eat my snacks? Will my headband hurt me behind my ears before the end of the day?" Once she reunited with a few friends and hugged a couple of familiar old faces, she seemed much more at ease. I, however, had to endure this...
