I purposed, before the birth of my daughter, to be the kind of mom I'd long wanted to be. At all costs. Unbeknownst to her, my daughter had thrown me a challenge. I needed to use my God-given talents and life's passions to be productive while still working around her needs and her schedule. Here are some daily adventures and small successes.

Oh February, you almost had me - Montreal's South Shore children photographer

If you aren't from around here, let me describe the typical February.

Major winter. You know, all those stereotypes people have of Canada -- in February, it's all pretty true. All except for the polar bears, that is.

This year, however, February smelled of spring. Just last week, the sound of melting ice trickling down the sewers were as sweet nothings in my ear. But February showed its true colours. ("Oh yeah, this is why we broke up," I tumbled.)

Well, you know what they say. When life gives you lemons...

...take a few shots of your kid with the one missing tooth.

Or something like that.
